Join us for an evening of friends and films benefiting Girls on the Run of Eastern Iowa. Enjoy viewing LUNAFEST, a film festival highlighting short films made by women about women and learn more about our newest Girls on the Run team in Decorah. We are featuring a special LUNAFEST line up curated exclusively for GOTR which includes four sport-focused film recommended for ages 13+.

LUNAFEST will kick-off with an introduction to Girls on the Run, followed by the film screening and opportunity to hear Girls on the Run stories from coaches and volunteers in our community. Food and beverage will be available for purchase throughout the event.

About the Films

LUNAFEST believes that sharing diverse perspectives can spark conversation, connection, and change. This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives that champion women and gender nonconforming individuals, highlighting their aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, and strength. We will be showing a specially curated collection of four sport-focused shorts:
